AFCON: Ekiti State NYCN Chair calls for Ekiti Youths to join Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to view the Super Eagles Match against Angola at the Quarter Final

The Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Eliti State Chapter has called on the teaming Ekiti youths in the State to root for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as the National Team will be playing against Angola today in the Quarter Final of the ongoing African Cup of Nation (AFCON). 

The Chairman of the Council, Amb. James Segun Bankile made this call through a press release on Thursday which was made available to the Pressmen. 

The statement partly read "In the spirit of shared prosperity, the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has made thrilling virtual viewing available to support our National Team against Angola  at the ongoing African Cup of Nation. The Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chairman is all Ekiti Youths to join the Governor to view the match".

When contacted, the duo of Secretary General of the Youth Council in Ekiti State, Comrade Olawale Silas Olumuyide and the Sport Director, Comeade Bamiyo Morakinyo Owoseni told our correspondent that the viewing of the match with Mr. Governor at no cost, shall hold on Friday 2nd February, 2024 at Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre, Fajuyi, Ado-Ekiti. Stressing that the match would start at 6:00pm but interested viewers are expected to be seated by 5:30pm.
