TALENTS DISCOVERY: CYON, Ado Deanery began the Second edition of SANTONIO GAMES and QUIZ Competition.

The members of Team SANTONIO GAMES & QUIZ COMPETITION for CYON Ado Deanery has started the Preliminaries ahead of the Second edition of the Competitions. 
The preliminaries, which was held on Sunday 21st April, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Iworoko-Ekiti was well attended and participated by the members of the Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria, CYON, St. Anthony Parish, Iworoko-Ekiti. 

The members of the Team was welcomed by the Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Prof. James Adeola Olaogun and the Deacon, Rev. Jude Otabor. 
The Sponsor of the Competitions who spoke through the Coordinator of the Team, thanked God for making the day a reality. He appreciated the Deanery CYON Chaplain, the host Parish Priest, the Deacon, and the Leadership of CYON Ado Deanery. 
He commended the efforts put together by the CYON President of St. Anthony Parish, Iworoko-Ekiti, Mr. Emmanuel Omotoye, his Executive members and the entire members of CYON in the Parish. 

He assured all the participants a level play ground during the preliminaries and the remaining rounds of the Competition which would take place at the Deanery CYON Congress 2024.
The following champions at the Preliminaries shall represent the Parish at the next round of the Competition:
Scrabble:       Mr. Love Pio DADA
Draught:        Mr. Titus ILESANMI
Chess:            Mr. Samuel OLUBORODE
Ayò ọlọ́pọ́n:   Miss. Christinah Taiwo AWOLOLA
Quiz:              Miss. Victoria ADAMA

For Technical reasons, those who indicated their interest in the Table Tennis shall join the next Parish to determine who Would represent the Parish at the next round of the Competition. 
Recalled that the preliminaries was earlier scheduled to Kickstart on Saturday 20th April 2024, but later changed to Sunday 21st April, 2024 to honour one of the Pioneer members of the Committee, Victoria Aanuoluwa Omobepade (Nee Afolayan) who was joined in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony with her husband, Lawrence Omobepade on Saturday 20th April, 2024.

By John Kayode Ayodele    Ọmọlúàbí John Kehinde Omodara KSJI A stalwart of Ọmọlúàbí Adó-Èkìtì group, Ọmọlúàbí (Sir) Prince Kehinde Omodara KSJI has hosted the leadership and some other members of Ọmọlúàbí Adó-Èkìtì to a dinner at his residence in Adó-Èkìtì. The National President of the Association, Prince Gabriel Sunday Adegbite appreciated Ọmọlúàbí Omodara through the Publicity Secretary of the Association Ọmọlúàbí Olofe Abíódún.  In his words, Ọmọlúàbí Olofe appreciated the previous goodies of Ọmọlúàbí Omodara to the members of the Association.
